Eurowind Energy has announced the development of one of Denmark's largest Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), in collaboration with BOS Power. The project will be integrated at Eurowind's 84.8MW GreenLab Skive hybrid solar and wind facility, marking a significant step in the country's renewable energy landscape.
BOS Power will serve as the system integrator for the project, delivering a 45MWh, two-hour battery system. Eurowind Energy will oversee the construction of the plant. The facility is expected to be operational by the end of 2025, providing essential ancillary and frequency control services to Denmark's transmission system operator, Energinet.
